Beekeepers are invited to a live one hour ‘webinar’ on best methods to produce high quality honey in Fiji and the Pacific.

Beekeepers wanting to improve the quality of their bee products and develop the reputation of their bee products will probably learn a few ideas.

This webinar will be delivered by Bianca Giggins (Australia NSW Department of Primary Industries and owner of Williams River Honey Co.) and Apiame Cegumalua (Project Manager HACCP Australia Fiji Ltd).

Collectively they have over 30 years of experience in honey quality assurance processes and practices.

The webinar is free for all Pacific Island beekeepers to attend and is sponsored by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), Bees for Sustainable Livelihoods, the Pacific Agribusiness Research for Development Initiative (PARDI), in collaboration with Fiji Beekeepers Association.

There will be a question and answer session at the end of the webinar to answer any honey processing or quality questions.

Bianca and Api will also be offering to coach some beekeepers on their honey quality assurance in the coming months. More info at the end of this webinar.
